Our Music Video Concept: Management – Maratti
Moodboard:
Our idea for the music video is built around memory, confusion, and the feeling of trying to understand a relationship that is no longer fully clear.
The video begins with shots of the night city - lights, buildings, and people walking through the streets. Among them, we slowly introduce the singer. As he walks, the name of the song, “Management - Maratti,” appears.
For the first few seconds, there is no singing. We focus on the atmosphere, using VHS effects, slow motion, and changes in camera focus to create a slightly dreamlike feeling. Small movements, especially the hands, become important visual details.
As the song develops, we move between different locations. Every couple of lines can introduce a new shot or setting. Although the artist remains in one general position, the world around him constantly changes from the night city and old churches to the river and forest.
The first part of the song introduces the artist and the story. He is trying to remember what happened and understand the situation, almost as if his memories are coming back in fragments.
The second part introduces a woman, who represents the relationship and, in a way, the song itself. She can appear almost like a shadow or a memory rather than a completely real person. The artist interacts with her, but it remains unclear whether she is actually there or exists only in his memories.
Throughout the video, we want to use recurring visual elements such as hands, blood, and a white shirt. These details gradually become connected to the story and help communicate the darker emotional side of the song.
Overall, the video should feel fragmented and dreamlike, as if we are watching someone’s memories rather than a straightforward story. The audience should slowly piece together what happened instead of being given a clear explanation from the beginning.
