Presentation review and improvements

Main takeaway: The idea and planning are strong, but the presentation needs to show more and explain the story more clearly. What to improve: Clarify the story: is the video about one night or a relationship? Play the song and show more clips, images and examples of the visual style. Explain why you chose the moodboard images, and show where they came from. Develop the artist’s character: what they wear, where they live and what visuals they use. Add camera angles, movement, timing and editing style to the storyboard. Connect shots to the lyrics. Show your own location photos and explain how their light and colours fit the video. Show the props and where you’ll get them. Leave the production plan on screen longer so people can read it.

Vampire Weekend — Cousins (2009) 1. Design elements The video uses dark walls, bright colours, geometric shapes and casual clothing. Everything looks simple but colourful. 2. Effect of the elements Fast movement, repetition and bright colours make the video feel energetic, fun and a little chaotic. 3. How it was made It was filmed in a narrow alley. The camera moves back and forth on a track while the band performs. Jump cuts create a fast rhythm. 4. Emotional quality The video feels playful, funny and energetic. It gives a sense of youthful freedom. 5. Social or political themes There are no obvious political themes. The video focuses on music, fun and creativity. Little Simz - Gorilla (2023) 1. Design elements Each scene copies a famous image, like an album cover or a painting. Bold costumes, strong colours and posed shots. 2. Effect of the elements Every scene feels like a picture coming to life. The scenes are all different, but the homage idea holds them together. 3. How it w...

What do you think the director might have been trying to achieve with this video? I think the director wanted to create an unusual and memorable performance by combining formal visuals with expressive dancing. Our Music Video Concept

Our Music Video Concept: Management – Maratti Moodboard: Our idea for the music video is built around  memory, confusion, and the feeling of trying to understand a relationship that is no longer fully clear . The video begins with shots of the  night city  - lights, buildings, and people walking through the streets. Among them, we slowly introduce the singer. As he walks, the name of the song,  “Management - Maratti,”  appears. For the first few seconds, there is no singing. We focus on the atmosphere, using  VHS effects, slow motion, and changes in camera focus  to create a slightly dreamlike feeling. Small movements, especially the hands, become important visual details. As the song develops, we move between different locations. Every couple of lines can introduce a new shot or setting. Although the artist remains in one general position, the world around him constantly changes from the  night city and old churches to the river and forest . The ...
